1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Assisting AI ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
2. Description of Service
Assisting AI is a desktop application that provides real-time AI assistance during audio calls. The Application captures system audio, transcribes speech, and generates AI-powered responses displayed in an overlay interface.
3. License Terms
3.1 License Grant
Upon purchase, you receive a time-limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Application on a single device. License durations are:
- Day Pass: 24 hours from activation
- Weekly Pass: 7 days from activation
- Monthly Pass: 30 days from activation
3.2 License Restrictions
- Each license key may be activated on one device at a time
- You may not share, resell, or redistribute your license key
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Application
- You may not use the Application for automated or bot-driven purposes
3.3 License Deactivation
You may deactivate your license from one device and reactivate on another. Deactivation does not extend your license duration.
4. Usage Limits
To ensure fair usage and service quality, the following daily limits apply:
- Maximum 300 AI messages per day
- Maximum 1,000,000 AI tokens per day
These limits reset at midnight UTC. Exceeding limits may result in temporary service restriction until the next reset.
5. Data Collection
5.1 Usage Analytics
The Application collects anonymous usage data including message counts, token usage, and error logs to improve service quality.
5.2 Meeting & Interview Questions
Transcribed questions processed through the Application may be anonymized and added to an aggregated question database. This data:
- Contains only speaker questions — not your personal responses
- Is fully anonymized and cannot be traced to any individual user
- Does not include audio recordings or personal information
- May be used to create educational resources for meeting and interview preparation

6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Assisting AI responsibly. You may NOT use the Application to:
- Violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
- Impersonate another person during a meeting, interview, or assessment
- Generate harmful, abusive, or discriminatory content
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use the Application in any context that may cause harm to others
Disclaimer: You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated answers. Assisting AI is a productivity and preparation tool. Use of this tool during meetings and interviews is at your own discretion and risk.
7. AI-Generated Content
Assisting AI uses third-party AI models to generate responses. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy or correctness of AI-generated answers
- That responses will be suitable for every meeting or interview context
- Uninterrupted availability of AI services
AI responses are provided "as is" for informational purposes. Always use your own judgment when responding in meetings and interviews.
8. Payment & Refunds
- All payments are processed through DODO Payments
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes
- Refunds may be requested within 24 hours of purchase if the Application fails to function on your device — contact support with your license key
- No refunds are issued for used licenses or after the 24-hour window
9. Service Availability
We strive for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Application depends on third-party AI services (Groq) which may experience downtime. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party providers.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Assisting AI is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the Application
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for your license
- We are not responsible for meeting outcomes, hiring decisions, or any consequences of using AI-generated content
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license without prior notice if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Attempt to circumvent security or usage limits
- Engage in activities that harm other users or the service
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Application or email.
