Are you confident with SQL? Would you rate yourself out of five?

I would rate my SQL proficiency as a 4 out of 5. I have extensive experience writing complex queries, including joins, subqueries, window functions, and common table expressions. I routinely use SQL for data extraction, reporting, and performance tuning. In my previous role, I optimized a set of legacy queries that reduced execution time from 45 seconds to 3 seconds by adding appropriate indexes and rewriting suboptimal joins. I am comfortable with both relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL systems that support SQL-like querying, such as Snowflake. I also have experience with database administration tasks such as backup, restore, and monitoring. While I am confident in my day-to-day SQL skills, I am always looking to deepen my knowledge of advanced topics like query optimization, partitioning, and distributed SQL engines.
