In which part are you mainly focused? In the current project, what do you exactly do? Is your role extracting data or transforming data?

In my current project I am primarily focused on the ingestion and transformation layers of the data pipeline. I design and implement extraction jobs that pull raw data from multiple sources such as relational databases, REST APIs, and cloud storage buckets. Once the data lands in a staging area, I write transformation logic using Spark or SQL to clean, enrich, and normalize the data. This includes handling missing values, deduplicating records, and applying business rules. I also build data quality checks and monitoring dashboards to ensure the pipeline runs reliably. My role is a blend of extracting data from source systems and transforming it into a format suitable for downstream analytics and reporting.
