This Cookie Policy explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies such as local and session storage. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work; others measure how the site is used or personalise advertising.
Our approach
- We ask for your consent before using any cookie or similar technology that isn’t strictly necessary.
- Non-essential categories are switched off until you turn them on — nothing is pre-selected.
- “Accept all” and “Reject all” are shown side by side and are equally easy to use.
- You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, marketing cookies stay off.
- The cookie banner is available in English and Hindi.
Cookies we use
This list is generated automatically from what the site actually sets, so it is always up to date.
Essential — always on
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
aai_consent | Assisting AI | Stores your cookie choices and a random consent ID so we can respect and prove them. | 180 days |
aai-cc-lang (local storage) | Assisting AI | Remembers the language you picked for the cookie banner — only set if you switch language. | Until you clear it |
aai-announce (session storage) | Assisting AI | Remembers that you closed the announcement bar — only set if you close it. | Until you close the tab |
aai-cc-later (session storage) | Assisting AI | Remembers that the cookie banner slid away without a choice, so it doesn’t reappear on every page of this visit. Nothing is tracked. | Until you close the tab |
wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_* | Assisting AI | Keeps site administrators signed in. Not set for visitors. | Session or up to 14 days |

Links to other websites
We link to other services such as app.assisting-ai.com, YouTube and Backbenchers Academy. Those websites set their own cookies under their own policies. We don’t embed third-party video players or social media widgets on this site.
How to change your choices
Open Cookie settings at any time — the link is also in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block essential cookies, we won’t be able to remember your choices.
Changes to this cookie policy
We will update this policy when we change the cookies we use and ask for your consent again where needed. Questions? Email support@assisting-ai.com.
