Getting started with Assisting AI takes about two minutes. It is designed to be set up once and then stay out of your way. This guide walks through your first session end to end and shares a few habits experienced users rely on.
What you need before getting started with Assisting AI
- A Windows or macOS computer
- Your meeting app — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Discord or any app that plays audio
- An Assisting AI pass (Day, 7-Day or 30-Day) and the license key delivered instantly after purchase
- Headphones (recommended)
Step 1: Download and activate
Sign in at app.assisting-ai.com, choose your pass and download the desktop app for your operating system. Launch it and paste your license key when prompted. The whole setup takes about two minutes.
Step 2: Join your call and start listening
Join your meeting as you normally would, then click Start Listening in Assisting AI. The app captures system audio, so there is nothing to install inside Zoom, Meet or Teams. The overlay sits discreetly on your side of the screen.
Step 3: Read answers as they appear
When someone speaks, Voice Activity Detection picks up the speech and Whisper transcribes it. The question appears on your overlay in about a second, and the AI answer follows within two to three seconds. Because Assisting AI remembers the conversation, follow-ups such as “explain more” or “what about performance?” are answered in context.
Step 4: Use smart screenshots for anything on screen
If someone shares code, a diagram, a chart or a slide, press the smart screenshot shortcut shown in the app. Assisting AI captures the shared screen and returns an analysis — for code, that might be a bug, a complexity improvement or a plain-language explanation of what the snippet does.
Step 5: Review your history
Every conversation is saved, so you can review questions, answers and notes after the call. Spend five minutes after important meetings turning key points into action items.
Choosing the right pass
| Pass | Best for | Early-access price |
|---|---|---|
| Day Pass | A single interview day or an important client meeting | ₹500 (was ₹1,000) |
| 7-Day Pass | A busy week of interviews or calls | ₹2,000 (was ₹4,000) |
| 30-Day Pass | A full month of meetings, with priority support | ₹7,000 (was ₹14,000) |
Every pass includes all features and unlimited hours. There is no subscription — when a pass ends, access simply stops until you buy another.
Troubleshooting quick fixes
- No transcript appearing? Make sure the meeting audio is playing on your computer and that Start Listening is switched on.
- Answers feel slow? A stable internet connection makes the biggest difference; pause large downloads or uploads during the call.
- Still stuck? Email support@assisting-ai.com. If Assisting AI doesn’t work on your system within 24 hours of purchase, we will fix it or work something out.
That’s it — you are ready for your first call.
